Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in the Hideaway.online Chance-Based Competition (the "Competition"). By entering this Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction and Promoter Details

1.1. The promoter of this Competition is Platinum Investment Group (ABN: ) of 5 Demand Ave, Arundel QLD 4214, trading as hideaway.online ("Hideaway.online", "we", "us", "our").

1.2. This Competition is a game of chance, and skill plays no part in determining the winner. Entry into the Competition is subject to these Official Terms and Conditions.

1.3. This Competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand only.

2. Competition Period

2.1. The Competition commences at 5:00PM AEST Thursday 26 June 2025 and closes at 5:00pm AEST Thursday 24 July 2025.

2.2. Entries received outside of the Competition Period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

3.1. Entry is open to individuals who are legal residents of Australia or New Zealand and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

3.2. Employees of Hideaway.online, its associated companies, agencies, and their immediate families (spouse, de facto spouse, parent, guardian, child, or sibling) are ineligible to enter.

3.3. Hideaway.online reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility criteria.

4. Entry Method

4.1. To enter the Competition, eligible individuals must complete all steps of the Feel it, Flip it, Find it game and have received a confirmation email of their prize result.

4.2. Entry into the Competition is free, provided that any goods or services purchased as a condition of entry are sold at their usual retail price. No additional fee or cost is required to enter this Competition beyond the normal purchase price of the product(s).

4.3. During the competition period, customers are limited to 1 entry per customer.

4.4. Entries must be submitted via the hideaway.online website Feel it, Flip it, Find it game. We utilise Shopify for our e-commerce platform, Klaviyo for email marketing, and ManyChat for chat communications. Your entry data will be processed through these platforms.

4.5. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

5. Prizes

5.1. The prizes for this Competition are:

• One (1) iPhone 16 (128GB model), approximate retail value AUD $1,391 / NZD $1,390.
• Three (3) Peter Alexander Vouchers, each valued at AUD $200.
• Several types of discounts for the Hideaway.online e-commerce store, ranging from 10% off, $10 off, and Free shipping, with specific terms and conditions for each discount type to be provided upon award.

5.2. The total prize pool value for this Competition is approximately $1991 AUD.

5.3. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part, unless otherwise specified by Hideaway.online.

5.4. Hideaway.online reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

5.5. Prohibited prizes under New Zealand law (e.g., firearms, explosives, alcohol, tobacco products, commercial sexual services, certain Māori objects) are excluded from this Competition.

6. Winner Selection

6.1. The winner(s) will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.

6.2. The draw will be conducted using a random selection method.

6.3. Hideaway.online will keep clear records of the winner selection process to demonstrate fairness and adherence to these Terms and Conditions.

7. Winner Notification and Publication

7.1. The winner(s) will be notified by email within two (2) business days of winning their prize and contacted by hideaway to organise their prize.

7.2. The winner's first name, last initial, and postcode may be published on the Hideaway.online website and/or social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In). For prizes valued over AUD $1,000, public publication of the winner's name may be required in certain Australian states.

7.3. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to the notification to claim their prize within 48 hours, two business days, the prize may be forfeited, and a redraw may occur.

8. Prize Claim and Unclaimed Prizes

8.1. Winners must claim their prize by following the instructions provided in the winner notification. This may include providing proof of identity and residency.

8.2. Prizes will be delivered to the confirmed winner's address provided.

8.3. Unclaimed Prize Redraws (Australia and New Zealand): If a prize remains unclaimed after reasonable efforts to contact the winner have been made, it's hold will lapse and the prize will be re-entered into the competition.

9. Privacy and Data Collection

9.1. Hideaway.online collects personal information from entrants (such as name, email address, phone number, and postal address) for the purpose of conducting this Competition, including verifying eligibility, notifying winners, and delivering prizes.

9.2. By entering this Competition, you explicitly consent to Hideaway.online collecting, using, and storing your personal information for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.3. Your personal information may also be used for future marketing and promotional activities by Hideaway.online, provided you have given your explicit consent to receive such communications. You can opt-out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

9.4. Hideaway.online uses third-party platforms, including Shopify, Klaviyo, and ManyChat, to manage its e-commerce operations, email marketing, and chat communications. As such, your personal data collected during this Competition may be transferred to and stored on servers located in the United States, where these platforms are based.

9.5. By participating in this Competition, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your personal information to overseas recipients, including those in the United States. You understand that the privacy laws in these overseas jurisdictions may not provide comparable safeguards to those under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (APPs) or the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Hideaway.online will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely by these third-party providers, but by providing your consent, you acknowledge that APP 8.1 (Australia) and IPP 12 (New Zealand) may not apply to such disclosures.

10. Taxation

10.1. For Australian Winners: Prizes won in ordinary lotteries, including free-entry trade promotions, are generally considered "windfall gains" and are not assessable income for individuals in Australia. However, if a winner subsequently sells a high-value prize (such as the iPhone 16), any capital gain realised from the disposal of that asset may need to be declared in their tax return.

10.2. For New Zealand Winners: Winnings from prize draws are generally not taxable for individuals in New Zealand. However, if the prize is won as part of a "taxable activity" (e.g., a professional activity), it may be considered taxable income. If Hideaway.online awards more than NZD $500 in prize money to a participant performing as part of their taxable activity, a 20% withholding tax may be deducted from the amount exceeding NZD $500.

10.3. Hideaway.online is not responsible for any tax implications arising from the acceptance of a prize. Winners are advised to seek independent financial and tax advice regarding their specific circumstances.

11. General Conditions

11.1. Fraud Prevention: Hideaway.online reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes, in its sole discretion, is fraudulent, tampered with, or otherwise in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Restricting entries by unique identifiers (e.g., email address, mobile number), and blocking known aliases may be used to prevent fraudulent entries.

11.2. Promoter's Rights: Hideaway.online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition (or any part thereof) if, in its opinion, the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or force majeure events.

11.3. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hideaway.online and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or the acceptance or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (such as personal injury, death, or fraud).

11.4. Governing Law: This Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of and New Zealand. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of and New Zealand.

11.5. Amendments: Hideaway.online reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on the Hideaway.online website. Once the sales promotion scheme begins in New Zealand, the promotion conditions cannot be changed.
